Meet Dr. Noelle G. Dunn

Dr. Noelle Dunn graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She attended the University of New Hampshire for her undergraduate degree in biology graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Dunn is dedicated to the highest quality dentistry and compassionate care for every patient.
Dr. Dunn uses state-of-the-art therapies to treat her patients. Being the only dentist in downtown DC that uses the Fotona Lightwalker system offers cutting-edge technology that results in procedures that are less invasive, have faster recovery times, and have fewer complications.
She is currently pursuing a master's in Laser Dentistry with the Laser and Health Institute. Procedures offered include
but are not limited to; restorative dentistry, periodontal therapy including Twinlight Periodontics™, root canal therapy with Fotona Sweeps™ laser-assisted root canals, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and orthodontics. She has received advanced laser treatment certification with Fotona in all aspects of clinical dentistry.
Dr. Dunn is an Invisalign™ preferred provider with advanced training through the American Academy of Clear Aligners. She has maintained a gold plus provider status with Invisalign. She and her team are fully trained in a digital workflow utilizing iTero 5D scanner for digital impressions, so no more goopy impressions! Scans can be electronically sent to Invisalign or a dental lab so they can start working on your case immediately. Most of her Invisalign treatments can be completed within a short 5 months!
She is certified in a variety of cosmetic treatments such as Smoothlase™ and Necklase™ that help with anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, and collagen tightening procedures. In addition, she is trained to perform Liplase™ which is a natural lip plumping without the use of fillers so her patients can not only have a beautiful smile but can look their best too.
Dr. Dunn is an American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine qualified dentist. This allows her to treat patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea with a variety of treatment options including oral appliances, airway-friendly orthodontics, and NightLase™ laser therapy. Combining Oral Appliance therapies and laser treatments allows her to offer a wider selection of treatment options than most dentists.
After she completed two nine-month-long programs through Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in addition to her dental degree; Dental Sleep Medicine and Temporomandibular Disorders - Orofacial Pain she is able to practice general dentistry while having thorough and detailed knowledge in these areas. She offers many different therapies for patients struggling with TMJ issues, facial and neck pain, headaches, and neuropathies (nerve disorders).
Through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, Dr. Dunn is a volunteer dentist with Give Back a Smile, “The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation's mission is to assist in rebuilding the smiles and lives of adults who’ve suffered dental injuries from domestic and sexual violence, through compassionate cosmetic dental services and support programs.”
She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Laser Dentistry, DC Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, American Academy of Orofacial Pain, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Clear Aligners, and the American Dental Society.
Dr. Dunn is committed to patient education on preventative care and improvement of overall health. She believes in improving more than smiles- improving lives through her total health approach. When Dr. Dunn is not chairside with her patients or traveling for continuing education; she enjoys her free time by painting, cooking, gardening, equestrian sports, and spending quality time with her fiancé Ryan and her two children.
